Aha moment - realised what I want to see more of

So im been playing outside the central buble pretty much but the other night I went "home" to sol area. I came across a point of interest that looked different. Dropped in. Oh crap.

There they were , two behemots hanging in space, then this great battle started with the big ones looking like 4th of july. Then when everything cooled down (all dead)
I closed in and apperently got to close to a no fly limit and it opened up on me.. oh crap moment. Boosted out of range... i i stopped to watch the two big ones... then it hit me.

This was NEW, this was EXITING , this was.. what I expected when I bought the game, its elite dangerous. Not ELITE I played as a kid. With HW limitations and before its time.
Now we have internet, pc power out of our *** ... After 1000+ hours ingame ( i guess) , millions in the bank this was the first encounter of this kind. It was so refreshing....

SO Frontier....you made a great game, can we have more, pretty please with sugar on top?

I would like to
- Drop in to a system, find it full of wrecks , seeing the remains of a huge battle , the space station blow. Then blips in the radar....coming ...closer..
- Sitting in station i would like to hear the station is under attack by..a faction? aliens? Player group? Distress call to all players in range..help us.
- Cruising in a local system i would like to se unknown phenonema, whats that, something unknown cruising, changing course, Scanning... unknown. it changes course.. chasing.
- I would like to se distress calls coming into my message box. Station under attack, convoy under attack. Come help.
- I would like to drop into a planet and se unknown new encounters. Messages, installations.
- I would like to here of sightings in a sector, players go investigate. (Jaques, barnacles?!)
- Rumours of a pirates stash in a planet in a specific system, scanning of planetoids an moons would reveal..? Or.. ou kill a pirate in ass. mission, scan black box and...
- I would like to talk to people, not the one i see on radar. The entire online population, get a feel im not alone in the verse..
- Humans.. thats it, are we alone in 400 billions stars. Arent there another bubble somehwere, close?
- Whats that object loitering outside the station, above the planet surface, cruising , it high wakes, should i follow? Where will I end up?
-etc.. i have a tone more but this is already a wall of text..

Also the other day logging in I saw something new in the news in launcher, i wont spoil it here because it was removed 30 secs later but was about a station closed down due to xxx.
I really hope thats part of my wishlist above.

Anyway, rambling off and thanx for a great game, lets make it better.[up]

I had an A-ha moment once. It was 1986 and I was 13. This hot new Norwegian boy band came onto the pop scene with the hit song 'Take On Me', and suddenly I had a new pin-up for my bedroom wall.

Back on topic, yes OP, I would like to see the kinds of things you describe too. We won't get exactly those, but I'm confident in time we'll see similar things.

We've got that in USS and missions involving getting canisters in USS

Well sometimes you can hear strange noises. Does that count?

- I would like to se distress calls coming into my message box. Station under attack, convoy under attack. Come help.

We have that in the form of missions that pop up depending on the state of the system and your actions. I once was hitting sec and got a message to help a faction in civil war.

Ya. Could be improved.

I was thinking the other day "What will I find when I drop out of hyperspace? Will I drop into the middle of a space battle where I'll have seconds to either flee or pick a side? Or a quarantined station with a deadly space virus?" Then I thought "No... I'll get docking permission and fly in and nothing will happen, as usual."

Oh well. *sigh*
