Horizons AI crew pilots - could they handle this build?

I want to build a tanky Keelback.

How well do you reckon a Harmless pilot would able to pilot a Keelback, if it was running turreted beams in the two C1 slots and twin fixed MCs in the C2s? The C1s seem well placed for turrets (high up). The utility at the back is idea for PD when running.

Frankly, as long as it doesn't commit too much friendly fire, I would be happy.

Thanks!

From what i understand of the AI pilots, that so there is a difference between harmless and elite pilots, the harmless are a bit slow and useless and the elite are good.
So my answer would be no, but with a good pilot who knows.
Give it a go and tell us how it went!

I'd be careful about letting SLF pilots fly your ship. If the SLF gets blown up, you're just down an SLF until the hangar spawns a new one. If your pilot gets your ship blown up, not only do you eat a rebuy but you lose that pilot, if you're interested in training SLF pilots to Elite.

I would recommend the Military Grade Composite and 5A shields. As for crew members flying it, you're taking your chances. The good news is that the re-buy for a Keelback is relatively low. I have a combat Keelback with a similar build. It does fine in low/normal RES's although I generally pilot the ship and let my crew run the SLF.
