AI "NPC" Crew... let us choose to drop them into the cockpit chairs

Dear FD, Since 2015, I've been waiting for an NPC copilot to take seat in the cockpit with me. But now, with how Apex Interstellar works, I know it's not only doable, but almost done... If you at least want to. Please, please, FD, let us have NPC copilots sitting next to us and taking us where...
One from my top wishes. It was suggested numerous times already, but sadly it looks like there are no plans for this 
Can't help thinking if there was even more of us asking for it, FD couldn't decently ignore us. But we'd also need to set things right : make one thread for it (maybe a poll) and have everybody hoping for such a feature to express it there.One from my top wishes. General - Assign NPC crew members to the spare cockpit seat so we can actually see our NPC crew members in our cockpits!!
Multicrew members can be assigned to spare seats in your cockpit. The same should apply to NPC crew members who are essentially invisible right now and don't feel like they're part of your crew. This would be a tiny but SIGNIFICANT change! Many thanks for listening.
