So... does anyone know if FD have a plan to stop an Elite Anaconda NPC risking millions of credits of damage to his ship to try steal 4 100cr rubber hoses that I have in my hold? It's a bit absurd.

Well, you could ask the same thing about the many other absurd things and you will not get an answer on any of them. I never ever seen an dev talking to us so I bet we will not see any of them giving any answers or thoughts about this things. The compromise that you can do is to discard all the stuff you have in your cargo but if you need those for engineering you have to go thru those interdictions as the AI will do whatever it takes to take from you even an 500 crd worth of cargo. Funny right?
If you're going to insist on carrying such dangerous cargo as ... rubber hoses ... may I suggest you step back from the controls, and let An Expert(TM) handle it?

I think the guy trying to pirate me must be related to the guy who keeps getting his 140 million credit anaconda blown up trying to collect on my 20k bounty.
