I've been getting use to my new Warthog for the last couple of weeks. Started with the basic in game ED Warthog configs and reconfigured one or two to my liking every day or so. With my style of play I've not had to reconfigure to many.
Today however, after making a few deliveries I've only got one mission left. I left the station and hit the button to get into hyper-cruise. Once I got to the system, located the vector and hit the button for hyper-cruise again as I've done numerous times in the past two weeks. To my surprise, it didn't work. Tried again and again and still couldn't go into hyper-cruise. I tried other buttons and combinations of buttons and still stuck in super with apparently no way to go to hyper-cruise.
I tried re-configuring the button to a different button(s) numerous times and still nothing. I did everything my limited knowledge would allow me to do.
Except one little important thing.
Took a bit but I finally realized that because I had just dropped out of hyper-space, I was already in super-cruise and the vector I was heading for was for a station in the system I was in. Thus there was no need to enter hyper-cruise because I was already where I needed to be. DUH!!!
Delivered my package, set a course to another system, left station hit the button to enter hyper-cruise and took off to the next system.
Killed almost two hours trying to fix something that wasn't broken. DUH!!!
