Release Airkeyboard skin for iPad

Ok, so a while ago another forum member started a discussion about a skin they'd created in Airkeyboard to use as a customised keyboard for elite dangerous. A few folks were nice about it, but a fair few were quite dismissive. Anyway, I just thought I'd add to it and share a skin that I too have made. If it doesn't interest you, then don't go on about it, but if you find it useful, then please feel free to use it. I've published it to Airkeyboards library and it's available from here (Link only works on iPad with air keyboard installed).

Of course, if you do think it's nice, then some positive feedback is always good.

Can't get the link to work.

I'd love to try this but I can't figure out how to use the link. Putting it into Safari and Chrome on my ipad does nothing even with the app installed.

Great work +1

Any chance you could post a complete ‘dummies’ guide how to set this up.

Sorry for the delay in replying, not been on the forums for a couple of weeks or so. So, the easiest way to get this working is to install the airkeyboard app on an iPad and use the link above to force it to open the app and load the skin. It seems that it sometimes doesn't work from within safari, so you can paster this 'airkeyboard://1C7918A0-7260-41AB-9E13-2F6FE8AF1CB9' (without quotes) into notes and click on it from there.

Failing that, you can search through the library within the app by clicking on 'Design Layouts", then the plus sign, and select download from library. It's a bit of a pain to be honest as there is no way I can see of searching through, you just have to keep scrolling until you find it.

Once you have it you'll need to assign either you game mappings to be the same as the keyboard, or probably change the keyboard to match your mappings.

I think the app has been left on the shelf recently as I don't think it works on iOS 11 but I could be wrong (I use it on an old iPad that doesn't support iOS 11 anyway)

A bit more info can be found here

Thanks Jorggs,
Much appreciated.
I will try to get it to work, I’m using iOS 11 on my iPad, so fingers crossed.
