Newcomer / Intro Aisling’s powerplay allotments

Can someone tell me, or better point me in the direction of a post pertaining to the allotments of programming materials?

I’m currently independently aligned with Aisling in both PC and PS4 based in Cubeo and been bouncing from station to station to pick up programming materials before heading over to fortification and control systems in my current Asp Explorer main, and I’d end up with about 50 per run

Logged in just now and the allotment was at 15 system wide.

not sure if what I was dealing with was a glitch initially or a glitch now, or they changed the rules, but if it was a rule change it seems like it would be specifically aimed at degrading Aisling’s powerplay capabilities.

relative not exactly a noob but sorta, but can someone point me in the appropriate direction or clear that up for me?

The higher your rating with your pledged power the more free PP materials you get. I’m not at home now so I can’t verify but I’m pretty sure the allotments are listed on the PP rating page. Right panel.

Yeah, this is where its confusing.

I was picking up the PP commodities in accordance with the info on the PP pledge pages. For Aisling, we get a specific allotment of materials in accordance with our pledge rank.

The way I’d run into it in my most recent gaming sessions, which have been on PS4 as opposed to PC/Mac, I was able to request the maximum allotment of PP commodities on each planet of the given system. Maximum in Medupe, FSD to Adelman for Max, etc. on through the system until I’d max out the system by accumulating the total PPC allotment per Cubeoan planet.

Then it stopped doing that. FD’ posted something about there being some glitch related to the Fleet Carriers update in which people were reporting not having to wait on their PP allotments, so I want to be sure, because it worked that way in my last session prior to picking up Horizons for PS4 and then with Horizons prior to Fleet Carriers, and then it didn’t last night.

Just thought I’d check to see if the rule about that had changed due to Aisling’s moving up in the ranks and a hidden vested interest in keeping Edmund in the top spot

I believe the cool down is 30 minutes to get a new free batch of pp goodies. But nobody waits that long with credits flowing so easily. Just before the 3rd weekly tick, for roughly 7.5M credits you can zoom to rating 3 in 1 trip (provided you have the cargo capacity) then, after the tick buy as many of your pp specific modules as you want.
