Does anyone have any experience of these products, i have found some reviews which look good but any real world experience?

never used them. Difficult to see from their website what makes them a "gaming chair" aside from the Colour scheme. I use this chair and would recommend. less than half of the cost too.

I have an AKRacing Octane and it's the best chair i had so far. I'm working in the IT of a bank for 10 years and my butt saw many chairs come and go. Actually i have a 600€ office chair here which imho can't compete with my 300€ AKRacing. As my chair was delivered one of the armrests was loose. I contacted them and two days later i got two (!) brand new armrests without further asking or sending the defective one back.
I hate the label "Gaming", often pushing its users into the kiddie corner. But the AKRacing chairs are formidable even with the "Gaming" on it and fully worth its price. At the same time we bought an IKEA chair for the son (chair is i believe called "Markus") for about half the price and i can confirm that you also feel that it's about half the price.
In my AKRacing i can play for 5hours straight without feeling my back, something i can't achieve neither at work nor with the "Markus"-Chair.

Buy a second hand BMW M5 seat for about £60 like I did, and convert this:

I got a dx racer chair myself. Not sure who is cloning whom to be honest as the ak's and dx's look identical right down to the logo stitching.
Anyway, most solid feeling and comfortable chair I've ever used. Freaking heavy to assemble but you only do that once.
For me, at least, the ability to lie flat is a gimmick and I dont think I engaged the tilt either aside from the 1st ten minutes "let's see what this thing does".
Well worth the money in my opinion, you wont be disappointed.
