I always like to not go with the main stream.
therefor i thought in the last past which weapon and build combination on a FDL could be most bad news for the present Plasma Fa Off meta.

in my opinion a hull tank Rail FDL is a good counter versus the actual Prisma Plasma FDL even when they are flown by aces.
I know that the Hull Tank FDL is very vulnerable against Plasma Shots espacially when the Plasma Shot is buffed with Thermal Conduit.
So evasion and good distance control ist the goal here.

It got on a hard proofe yesterday when i was intercepted by a very dangerous outlaw in deciat sector.
But i had some sucessful sparrings versus aces of spear so i was rather optimistic.

Fuel was getting a bit low by the end there...if only he had been willing to sandbag a bit he could have run you out of gas.

I really like plasma slug, but I can't imagine using it on a shieldless FDL with four railguns eating 80kg a volley. Pretty ballsy setup.

i have a class 2 addition tank on this setup. leads to 150 volleys in view of 4 rails. thats a lot of damage.
24600 total damage potential if i did the fast maths correctly

Nice combat, must've been a frustrating fight for your opponent. What kind of base modification did you use on the rails? You tried to get near him at the end, so I assume it wasn't long-range?

thats correct but i flying them more in the style like srb rails
reverski is not fun for me and staying as close as possible whilst orbiting gives the plasma shooter a very hard time.
