Albertosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus

I always knew that this game would never live up to Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, which didn't even live up to itself for somehow not being made and sold anymore, and many more reasons. And it didn't. Frontier made useless dinosaurs that already have dinosaurs very common to them (ex. Maiasaura, Chungkingosaurus, Dracorex, Panoplosaurus) instead of including the excluded dinosaurs, like Albertosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, and Carcharodontosaurus. Not only did they exclude the most diverse and unique dinosaurs, they also didn't put mod support into the game, which is another one of the reasons Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis didn't live up to itself, and why this game didn't live up to the previous one. What we really needed was a remade, better, more advanced, more unique Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, not some random "we exclude Albertosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus so we can ruin Fuzzy's life so he just ends up pirating the sh*t out of Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis or copying the game to other disks or whatever thats called but its basically pirating" Simulator. I could give and endless number of reasons why this game was hopeless from the start. It couldn't have lived up to Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis anyways, because it's Jurassic World instead of Jurassic Park, it's new, and Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis didn't even live up to itself. The idea of the perfect Jurassic Park tycoon game is too perfect to make, to live up to, or look up to. What I'm trying to say is, screw this. Also, screw that alphabetical list. We're still getting Albertosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus, and Carcharodontosaurus. At least of the carcharodontosaurus (other than Giga since he's more likely). Like Ian Malcom said about recreating dinosaurs, creating a Jurassic Park tycoon game is a complete mistake. Anyways, screw this.

Certainly the absence of the Carcha is not very understandable seeing that it shares the site with the Spino. It is a dinosaur very similar to the Giga but a little smaller, in my opinion it would have cost them nothing to add it with a different skin to the Giga.

About Albertosaurus, it is not understandable either, it is a popular and beloved carnivore. I do not believe that the game will only have T-Rex as the only tyrannosaurid. We have three sauropods, three stegosaurs, three ceratopsids ... but nevertheless only 1 tyrannosaurid. After the T-Rex is the most famous tyrannosaurid. They need more of his family.

Acro to me does not say anything, is cool but it seems that Carcha and Alberto have priority over him. It does not hurt that I'm not

It is not that these dinosaurs were or not in Operation Genesis, it is that they are two popular and interesting known dinosaurs whose absence I do not understand having their dig sites in the game. There are too many herbivores. Having eliminated a couple of them to add Carcha and Alberto in their place would have left a more balanced roster.

PS: You can not compare JWE with OP. JWE will surpass it in absolutely everything. It is more and better in all aspects.

Dude, chill, it's a game. You're acting like Frontier not including these 3 specific dinosaurs (which we don't even know if this is true, there is no known complete species list available) is a personal attack on you.

So you decided to give a rant about your favorite dinosaurs left out of the game and therefor the entire game is bad.
Ever heard of dlc?
It wouldn't surprise me if they haven't already made plans for future dlc's and what content they will have.

Operation Genesis is a bad game. It was lacking in many things. This game is going to be 1,000X better than JPOG. Like someone said on the old JPLegacy forum many years ago, JPOG was just a cheap program with the JP name attached to it. Frontier is putting a lot of time and effort into this game. I think you need to stop acting hysterical and grow up.

If you are unhappy with the game and don't plan on buying then why even post here?

Looks like I will have another thread to put on my ignore list.

Now, to some extent, I understand that people like big carnivores. I like the distribution that Frontier went for - there could be a Hadrosaur less, and Chungkingosaurus, Camarasaurus or Torosaurus don't add too much either for me. I'd rather have had the Protoceratops, the Plateosaurus and maybe a "dwarf" Sauropod like the Nigersaurus or the Europasaurus - still hoping for Deinocheirus and/or Therizinosaurus. But one of my biggest fears was that I'd get to build about one big Herbivore enclosure and then just a ton of enclosures for what are basically different Tyrannosaurus skins, so I'm very happy with the somewhat limited number of large carnivores.

Anyway, where I don't follow at all is how anybody could call Albertosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus "the most diverse and unique dinosaurs". Acrocanthosaurus, Carcharodontosaurus and Giganotosaurus are all close relatives and look basically the same. Albertosaurus is a smaller Tyrannosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus doesn't look all that different from the Charcharodontosaurids either. The only mid-to-large carnivorous theropods that really look distinctive to me are the Spinosaurids with their crocodile heads (and the sail in case of the Spino), and the Carnotaurus.

So the game is bad because they didn't include certain dinosaurs you like? That's quite an egotistical outlook.

Don't worry too much about it, yet.
For all you know, it might come as DLC or in an Update later on with additional dinosaurs.
