Same happened few years ago. Their Gin is pretty good indeed! Be careful though, they have two gins. One is a square .7L bottle, and they have a slightly more expensive one thats .5L. The latter is the one that is doing well in these tests.

Actually, it's the 70cl/700ml/0.7l that is doing well in the tests, the 'upmarket' Topaz Premium Gin has done well too.

I recommend you do 'investigate'. It's the Cromwell Gin. You look at the bottle and think...'this is going to be cheap and nasty' and that's half right...

Good job I'm 13000ly out and can't be breathalysed! :D

Let's all get trashed on Aldi Gin :D[heart][heart][yesnod][yesnod][smile][praise][yum][wink][wink]

"Sir, could you please step out of your craft and float in a straight line?"

I got told about this Gin the other day.
Apparently it has beaten the top Gins in a tasting award thingy.
I'm off to get a bottle later today :D

Anyone at the gin festival today? Went last week, was very good! Now only one glass short of a full set... :)

Whenever I go to Aldi for a pint of milk I leave with a chainsaw and a tent. Maybe I'll see what happens if I go in for gin...
