He's using people's fears hawk that a inflated prices.

Selling snake oil is a proud American tradition.

The difference is in the past the only people affected by the snake oil sales were the poor saps who bought the useless product and at worst were poisoned by it.

Jones (and Trump) are different. Their reckless sales pitches are much more destructive and cause more harm than the actual rubbish they are trying g to sell.

Alex Jones is a gate keeper. He mixes truth with fantasy to confuse and control the narrative. He sounds crazy deliberately. He just copies stuff off the Drudge Report and adds a little more drama to it. I find it hilarious because Drudge just links mainstream media articles in which Jones so regularly mocks.
