Just wondering if we are ever going to see Alien Life in the game, its a little strange that the only intelligent beings are Humans.
Maybe there are Aliens in the farthest reaches of the galaxy. It would be great to travel 1000s of Parsecs from SOL and find Aliens.

I like to think ED follows the idea that intelligent life succeeding all the way to space travel and colonising other worlds is so incredibly improbable that it's unlikely to happen more than once in this galaxy at least. There's plenty of indigenous wildlife on the Earthlike worlds in the game but running into other apes with spaceships is a long shot. The fun thing about probability though, is it always leaves that little bit of "but it could happen" even if it's not likely to.

In the game there is carbon-based life on some of the planets out there: terrestrial water worlds, earth-like worlds, and even some gas giant. Other than stating this in the description text, though, there is nothing to show for it. (Well, more credits for the discovery.) It would be interesting to have more details about these tiny little life forms - and maybe this will come someday with the addition of the mysterious level 2 and level 3 scans. As much as I'd love to see it, I don't think its a high priority addition.

There is also Ammonia based life in gas giants.

There are stars quite literally in the middle of no where that require permits. I'm currently on a journey to the eagle nebula and noticed the nearby ish omega nebula has a permit only star. Its over 5000 ly a wsy, ya in a pretty nebula, but completely isolated from anything human, so what's up with the permit. Maybe one day we will find out

I believe you, but I'd be awesome to have a link, so we could read about it. I hadn't heard this and am also very excited about having some other race encounter.

I look forward to this more than playing with other CMDRs..
Wings will be great but new aliens will be amazing.

There will be intelligent Aliens that have the tech to fly, maybe 3 races (1 being Thargoids and They are Comming!) plus Humans. They will not be stuck in one system, I would expect them to be in a group of systems much like the Humans are.

The other Aliens are the ones we already know are there but can't visit as we cannot land yet, nor can we scan lifeforms on the planets yet
