Community Event / Creation Alien spaceships attack - Not Thargoids

Hello commanders. Maybe I'm a bit outdated in this game as I just started playing it again after a while, but are those alien spaceships that attacked me (video attached) are new to the game? Coz I only saw videos about Thargoids but not actual spaceships?

Well, how can we defend ourselves from them? How can we destroy them?

They are Thargoid Scouts, introduced in 3.0
