investigated the transponder and took a video, just uploaded to youtube it may take a while before it shows

Just a tourist beacon, nothing new here. It's probably present in 2.2.03.

Monitized video? Why would you shoot a beacon? They are all over the game. "I did not shoot it" kind of indicated you met an Alien.

Looks that way to me as well - (s)he was even kind enough to leave in the 8-odd minutes of playing patty-cake with the beacon. In 480p, at the time of my viewing.

Because apparently FD thought it would be more amusing to confuse people, when they could easily have put "Tourist Beacon: Alien Transgressions", and do that for all the beacons.

Or more likely, once again they failed to realize that their choice of wording (or lack thereof) would confuse people.
