All Aboard achievement

Anyone else having difficulty getting this to unlock?

Currently on a carrier making its way back from Colonia to the Bubble. Since the only one available when I needed to go was a sight seeing tour, there have been many stops. I keep checking after each stop and All Aboard won't unlock. To try and "encourage it", I've tried undocking, scanning the current system I'm in to register that I'm in a different system and then redocking for the next jump but it still won't pop.

Am I doing this wrong? Reading the description it seemed to be pretty straightforward.

I guess not.

Does anyone know if I have to be online when the carrier jumps? I’ve been logged off because he’s jumping when it’s the middle of the night for me.
That’s the only thing I can think of that I might be doing wrong.

Yes you need to be in game when the carrier jumps

Thanks, yes, you guys are correct.

So I set my alarm for 4am and was sitting in his hangar for the jump, the achievement popped before we even left the system

I logged off on a Friday in the bubble and relogged on a Monday at Sag A and got that achievement plus 2 others.
