Its just for convenience. The side direction on the coaster track tool is sometimes hard to control becouse it depends on the begining end end node of the selection. It would be nice to have additional controles for the position. Maybe with an control for perpendicular movement to the sidemove. And in addition to that a tilt function would also be nice to lower the beginning and rise the top of the selection. Perpendicular to the banking. I dont know how hard its coded but maybe its just copieing the existing control and change coordinates 90 degree.
