Ships all round fun so far.......

Saved up and upgraded to this from the sidewinder.

I got to say that I am loving its general performance so far. I have sunk a lot of creds into upgrading it and think I will be sticking with it for a while[smile]

Ah! the adder :) flew it for a very long time, mainly as an exploring ship. if the new thrusters mentioned in the last newsletter hit, i will outfit an adder again. good smuggler, great rare goods runner!

I am running mine as heavily armed & armoured fast courier, I almost have the best of everything strapped on at the expense of cargo space (only got 8t).

This ship can both take and give a beating!

The Adder was my first ship bought with my own credits.

It felt a tremendous ship after the Sidewinder... All that fuel (4x more than the sidey), all that internal space, that jump range...

It was the ship that truly opened up the galaxy for me. Really started to move freely around the bubble with it, without the constant refuellings that the Sidey needed. My first rares runs were with it.

And that cozy cockpit...

I really wish I had tried the adder, but i jumped from sidey to a cobra mkIII. Love the look, and it does seem cozy...neutron star finder perhaps in the future....

As with the above comment I as well jumped into a cobra but I have bought a adder for my growing fleet. Trouble is I don't know what to do with it, used it to try out a bit of mining which it was adequate to do but not the most able due to size restrictions. So I may strip it of modules and leave it till I find a good idea what to do with it.

after growing out of my adder, i used it for salvage-missions, and smuggling missions.

it is also a great ship to run some missions and cash in bounties or bonds, if you happen to fly a large pad ship, and want to back a minor faction.

Me too - this exactly. My daughter came and told me that the seat on the left was for her to sit in while I went travelling [cool]
