Oh, that us Lifetime Expansion Pass holders receive all cosmetics free? Sure, why not - it'll never happen anyway
Cosmetics vouchers being earned for in-game actions/activities (e.g. reaching certain ranks), redeemable in the cosmetic store, with Lifetime Expansion Pass holders receiving a bunch of vouchers for their early high-tier support? That'd be cool, and much more likely

It would be cheaper to refund the unredeemed LEP value for me too. I'd rather they released some premium content though, I like this game & want (and paid for) more of it.
My suggestion back in the aug/sept Important Community Update was a Moon (the Earth's Moon) permit. Build a height map from existing IRL maps, add some bases to race/fight around, charge a tenner for it, 'optional premium content' box ticked. A few smaller packages like that would tide us over for the next couple of years until the (presumably massive & expensive) big premium update comes out, everybody's happy.

So your OP is not true then. Or you have linked to wrong announcement where they say they won't be releasing any updates for 18 months.
If you'd like to check back a few posts you'll see StuartGT & I had a short conversation about just this pedantry. Do you have an opinion on the proposal?
I have not been able to support the game, because Elite is not allowing me to do so!
I started playing in Dec 18. Much of what I have been doing is learning about the game; trading, missions, combat, mining. Was about to explore, but have also entered the phase where I want the game to be more personal to me.
Unfortunately I have seen the things I would like in game and on searches - just not for sale. So my feeling of investment and personalisation has diminished.
You can name call it what you want, the fact is I spent £60 on items for sale in another game and have been playing that game for the last 2 weeks. Haven't played Elite for a while now.
Elite may be one of my favourite games, but as some like to use the 'entitlement' phrase, I'll just state that they are not entitled to my custom or money - they have to keep me invested and interested.
Start selling more in shop - this will earn revenue so that you can create new stuff to sell.
