Let's just say I need a hobby. With the new large walkthrough exhibit coming, I thought a new type of meta-wishlist might be prudent.
Any extant animal, be it a habitat, aviary, exhibit or aquatic animal is welcome in this thread. Animals will be listed by number of votes on the meta-wishlist and alphabetically by common name within that category.

The Meta-Wishlist
Last Updated - Pending Data
Any extant animal, be it a habitat, aviary, exhibit or aquatic animal is welcome in this thread. Animals will be listed by number of votes on the meta-wishlist and alphabetically by common name within that category.
Rules - Please READ ME
The rules:
1. All entries must be a real living animal; no extinct creatures or fantasy animals. Any extant animal is allowed on the list.
2. As a general rule of thumb, animal species is the preferred category for animal submissions. Subspecies from already in-game animals are also accepted. Subspecies from animals that are not in-game will automatically be allocated to the superior species category. Specific domestic animals breeds are also accepted.
3. To simplify data collection, those answers that include several species in one slot (eg.: 1. Sloth) will be automatically treated as a single animal and added to the most requested species inside that generic animal group (eg. in this case: Brown-Throated Three-Toed Sloth). This obviously leads to an underestimation of the total key requested animals.
4. Limit 25 animals per user wishlist, limit one wishlist per user. Lists with more than 25 animals will be discarded.
5. If an animal from your wishlist is added to the game, you may update your list by quoting your original post and noting the animals to be removed and their replacement species.
6. Similar to 3, if a species similar enough to one from your wishlist is added to the game, you may update your list by quoting your original post and noting the animals to be removed and their replacement species. Please do not abuse this - only make wishlist updates once per DLC release.
7. No clutter posts - discussion without a wishlist/update in posts is distracting and makes the task of compilation more difficult. Please keep non-wishlist posts to an absolute minimum.
Sidenote: Because birds, reptiles, and small critters can get confusing and often have multiple common names, scientific name will be added to column three of the meta-wishlist for clarity - if an animal you request has not appeared on the wishlist, please search the scientific name, it may be on the list under a different common name. In cases of contested taxonomy, I'll be using the first name wikipedia offers. If you want save me the googling, you can include the scientific name in your wishlist, but it is not required.
