PvP Alliance Chieftain build

Sorry, I clicked on the wrong shields. They're supposed to be bi-weaves. The sensors are light weight d's for power. It gives you some options like being able to use rails or a kws by dropping a booster or the dictor. Though for me personally my survivability increases a lot with a 3rd booster.

Ah fair enough.

The Chief is pretty good in the power department to begin with, especially with no banks etc.
You can run all rails/PAs with an armored PP, and have power to spare with a hybrid build.
I'd think you can use priorities to make it all work fine.
You'd only be at < 90% fully deployed with my build above, and all efficient PAs and LR rails.

That build I posted has a dps of 470. The only way to run a oc'd plasma build is to have a pp heat efficiency of .30 or less or heat will be a huge problem.
Here's my pvp build: https://s.orbis.zone/TDKpEXjA
Boost: 542
Shields: 279
Hull: 4063
Dps:470
Notes: this is for pre-arranged duels, so fit the smallest fsd and fuel tank that you can.

Pve load out:
Boost:536
Shield:279
Hull:4631
Dps:470
https://s.orbis.zone/BuBwMyj5
Notes: no mrp's, A grade fsd, full size fuel tank.

With both these you can do long range or light weight sensors. A rated sensors are hard to keep under power so stick with d's. If keeping the oc'd plasmas make sure your pp is .30 or lower for heat efficiency or you'll overheat after a shot or two. You can even go with a g1 efficient pp with thermal spread for a heat efficiency of .26 if you drop a booster. But I survive better with 3 boosters. I go back and forth with deep plating. I have 2 sets of hrp's engineered. When I use 2 boosters I do deep plating, but when I run 3 boosters I don't like to give up resistances so no special effects on hrp's.

Bonus build. Pve 2 booster deep plating hrp's:

Boost: 537
Shields: 245
Hull:4990
Dps:470
Notes: heat efficiency of .23

Ah, I see where you're going now.
I was wondering about that heat.
Armored doesn't cut it at .32 then?

Why no deep plating?

Ok, got it all cleaned up. Ya, you can run an armored at .32 but you have to be very mindful of heat, especially when perma-boosting and firing a lot. With .30 and lower you can shoot to your hearts' content. I've got more builds for my fas than my chieftain if anyone is interested. The above builds translate even better to the fas because you have a tiny bit more power and that makes all the difference. PM me if you want some fas builds.

Thanks for the explanation. I add emissive to my builds thanks to gankers like Na'qan.
Oh come now. He is Empire and you are Federation alligned and even have FNS in your ship name. That makes you a legitimate target for PP, no matter what ship you fly in. No?

Are you calling me out cuz I called him a ganker or because I use emissive?

Calling him a ganker. Emissive only makes sense :)
But he is a ganker; one of the best as I often say. I appreciate his role play messages. I would not call him a murderhobo which is a much more derogatory type of ganker. Na'qan is the imperial scum ganker that ganks with style.

I just don't like the term ganker I guess. It implies that they only attack targets when they know they won't lose.

Technically, I handicap myself in order to level out the field, using inferior ships to its maximum potential. I think I'm 4:1 in my K:D
