Alliance Getting Left Behind

Is it just me or is the Alliance getting left behind in favour of the other two major factions. I mean they dont have their own ship or capital ship and theres even a new Fed ship coming soon (Corvette looks awesome btw ). I know theyre all independent and all and all, but maybe they pool resources toward new ships or something like that.

And speaking of faction ships...they stuck! You'd think you'd get more of a 'reward' for gaining their trust. They need to be buffed or something. As it stands now, they're just a statements pieces .

The problem is that if you "buff" the faction specific ships, everyone would go faction specific or be at a disadvantage.

And that would be gamey and wrong.

I kinda felt the same way. I was actually thinking, maybe the alliance can't design their own ships but they could produce their own unique weapons for ships... Like the ever elusive plasma burst that only AI adders carry currently? Just a thought.

There are some small palyer groups doing the influence thing for the alliance, but yes the devs have been a bit quite on that front. With the influence and geopolitical simulator still broken flipping systems is still hard if not impossible

If you are sensibly minded enough to prefer the freedom of the alliance... Pick a ship, any ship and use it

who cares anyway... as there's no goal, no advantage or disadvantage to be the one or the other, really, who cares... at the end you'll grab the ship you can afford, doesn't matter what faction lies behind ^^
