Ships Alliance ships

Premonition does include some kind of reference to Alliance ships, the words below are from the book - you may want to consider it as a spoiler, though it is an insignificant tidbit in the story itself.

I do hope this means we'll get Alliance ships soon(TM).

Sounds like an Asp X/S, T6/7/9, Keelback.......... etc, I reckon outside of the distinctly Fed/Imp ships anything could be considered Alliance even decommissioned Federation or Empire navy ships.

The book does a fairly good job in presenting the actual ships and their names, so I think this is a rather about something that is not yet in the game.

It may well be, but still something that doesn't not exist in game. I do have a feeling that the Alliance is using the Thargoid-crisis to emerge as an equal/dominant power, and for that they need a proper fleet.

I'm one of "them Alliance types" so I'd love to see Alliance getting some more love, their own ranks etc. Fed ships have heavy armour and firepower, Imp ships have speed, perhaps Alliance could go for range? I'd really love to see something with the jump range of AspX and internals / combat capabilities similar to Python...

They could have something, much like EU have the Euro fighter Typhoon.

If they do get something, rather than ranks it could just be locked behind full allied status with the superpower and also only in Alioth so people have to have that permit too.

I'd like there to be ano the big trading ship to rival the capacity of the cutter. Perhaps an extended Anaconda frame to make a super-conda.
