We have Empire and Federal affiliated ships (Clipper and Dropship) in. Was there anything equivalent that the Alliance would have? Toned down Turner Class? Or maybe a Saker 4? (I did find the Saker 3 kind of ugly though). What would you like to see in an Alliance ship, and who would manufacture it for them?

My understanding is that the Alliance isn't as big as the other two factions, and that the Alliance fleet consists of borrowed ships from Alliance systems (which is part of the deal when a system becomes an Alliance system), and so I don't think there will be any Alliance-only ships. I imagine we'll be able to deck our ships out in Alliance insignia if we get our rep up with them, though!
The Quest needs to return. That is all. Needs to look something between the Clipper and the Dropship but this time no wagging tail. Also a fighter of some sort needs to happen maybe a new mamba something triangular to mirror the look of the Alliance logo like a Stowmaster Mk.II. A new Saker would be great too.
Or they could use the merlin small fighter from first encounters. Mamba or the gecko sounds good too.

I always imagined the alliance to be a rag tag kind of lot with ships bought from wherever they could get them! I would also suspect that the Federation and Empire might well "lend" them some ships when it suited to try and convince them to join their side.

Ah yes, that was it. They need a logo and an entry to the game ASAP, maybe with the Saker? (was that an AAAI ship?)
Yes I believe the Saker Mk3 was an AAAI designed ship.
