Allied faction doesn't trust me. Bug?

In Sol, I'm allied with the Federal Congress faction, and friendly with Mother Gaia. Recently, I've been exclusively doing missions for Federal Congress (including several charitable ones).

Yesterday I noticed an unobtainable mission from Federal Congress to carry 37t of minerals (can't remember what) to another location in Sol, for a pretty juicy reward.

However, I was intruiged as to the reason for the mission being unobtainable: "This faction does not trust you enough".

I could not have done the mission anyway, because my Cobra's 44t hold was already half full.

So, I wonder if there's a bug here, with a mis-statement of the reason for the mission being unobtainable. I've done large haulage missions for Federal Congress before. When the mission timer is at 0 I've never seen an "insufficient time" reason for unobtainable missions. Perhaps there's no "insufficient cargo space" reason either?

As per my post, I've done similar missions for that faction previously. I can't see what relevance a navy rank has to do with trading.

The reason was you didn't have enough room in your hold.
It just shows up wrong. Had this a few times too. Could get the mission after selling the stuff in my hold.

What is your current Rank with the Federal Congress? I've had it where I was Allied with a Faction/Station and not been able to accept a mission for the reason you state. Then I'd do another mission, not change rank, and the inaccessible mission became accessible. You're likely a few missions of reputation shy, that's all.

This has to be a bug. Im allied with the Fed and still sometimes get this. Looks like sometimes the indiviual Faction rep is checked instead of the overriding Mainfaction rep.

Yeah I think this is the likely reason. Nothing to do with reputation - it just can't show the correct message. Perhaps this functionality is currently incomplete.
