Allied with every minor Empire faction, ranking up still broken?

Hi.
Im Allied with every minor faction and have been for well over 1 year when i reached Baron but i have been unable to progress because im allied with every minor faction within the Empire.
Is it possible to rank doing missions even though im Allied or is there another way? It still seems broken to me

I too haven't received an Imperial Navy Ascension mission since hitting Baron about 2 weeks ago.

Be good to get some confirmation on this, some people some to rank up and some do not, i think i will PM Michael Brooks.

Dont matter if your Allied infact being Allied is good so just keep doing missions and ranks will come, REP for Tim Wheatley.
