These past few days I've been doing missions for the Pilots Federation in a nearby system to Shinrarta Dezhra. They have a small influence there. I was hoping it would an alternative way of getting a permit for Shinrarta Dezhra. I became allied with them today which is kinda cool in itself but no permit has been given.
Ah well - it was worth a shot. Still quite a way to go before I get an Elite ranking - I guess I'll just have to be patient :)

And yet on the system map it says something like 'there are other secret ways of getting a permit'. All I've done is proved that becoming allied with the ruling faction isn't one of them. All good fun though.
