I would love to have a reason to purchase more of the flight suit designs in the ARX store. If I could use the flight suits as a base layer in all three of the suits, I would immediately purchase more ARX and customize my Artemis, Maverick, and Dominator loadouts with the flight suit skins.
Allow ARX purchased flight suits to be used on all suit livery

Especially since we can use the outfits from horizons as cosmetics on top of a maverick, dominator or artemis suit.
There could be a lot more flexibility in the cosmetics. Many of the not actually armour parts would work just fine with a lot of different suits.
For example: all the belt for the 3 main suits, the scarf and the bandolier (separate) forn the cowboy sets, the scarf from nomad suit.
And as op, I would also i would also buy a bunch of more cosmetics, if it had more flexibility.

I'm not sure I understand or maybe some parts can't be used. I just applied the turncoat jacket and pants on top of a maverick and dominator suit.. Maybe the in shop descriptions should be updated.
Those are outfits. The flight suit is the 'underwear' beneath that. Not sure how you'd use them in the current cosmetics, maybe as the base instead?
I just equipped a dominator and then a maverick suit, and added pants and jacket from the turncoat bundle on top. Wasn't sure that it would work (due to the instore description), but as I did the same on my main and still use it.. But I may be misunderstanding the problem.. 
Some do and some don't. If you go to the livery for your commander, you will see that there are articles of clothing that it will not let you equip, but the jacket and trousers (pants to US folk) will work, OP suggests they all should, and I agree.I just equipped a dominator and then a maverick suit, and added pants and jacket from the turncoat bundle on top.
