Now that we have synchronized coasters as an option, one thing I'd really like to see is the ability to run any coaster train facing backwards.
Kings Dominion's Racer 75 (formerly the Rebel Yell) is a pair of wooden coasters that are mirrors of each other. Paramount used to run the trains on one side facing forwards and one side facing backwards. Some other coasters at the park and other neighboring parks would be switched to face backwards for Halloween events. There is plenty of precedent for having coaster trains face backwards. The experience was a bit more intense and definitely more frightening and nauseating for those unfamiliar with the layout of the ride.
On a more personal note, teenager me loved to build a pair of synchronized side-by-side launched steel shuttle loop coasters in the original Roller Coaster Tycoon. One side would face forwards and the other backwards. These things printed money in the scenarios! I don't recall this being possible in RCT2 or 3. Would be nostalgic to build something from 25 years ago even if it is rather silly.
