Allways start in same system?

Hi. Any one else always start in same system?. I always start in Random Fedrel system. Threvithick LHS 3447. Any way to change or is one system start?. Thanks.

The different levels of Kickstarter / Beta Backer got a choice of starting ship / set-up and location. Everyone else seems to be from LHS 3447, though I'm happy to be contradicted on that.

Should be a random Federal system, I started in Ros 210.

Would be nice if we could set our own home system in game.

Is it tied to commander name some how? Wouldn't surprise me if they use the commander name as a random seed to select from a list of potential start locations.
