Almost at Great Annihilator...any advice?

Am I fine as long as I do the usual throttle back on entry and just sit there? Or does heat build up straight away?

Yep just hang back and take it in, then maybe fly up to it and play with the lensing a lil, nothing too dangerous about it, GL

And drop in to Solo or Group mode.

There are a few individuals* using the jump distance cheat and hanging around Sag A just to kill off explorers as they think it is really funny.

Which is why I am playing in Solo. I don't want to deal with players who are like that

I'd like to deal with cheaters who are like that... but I'm not FD, the ones who should deal with them.

I think it would be fun to hang around the usual explorer's destinations with a FSD interdictor, armed to the teeth, and interdict explorers just to congratulate them on making it out that far.

Mess with people's heads a little.

Recently started soloing toward there myself. Strangest thing I found so far has been a Class I giant with a moon system orbiting a Class II giant.

Not to nitpick or anything, but nefarious players hanging out at Sag A wouldn't pose much risk to a player checking out The Great Annihilator.
