I ran away. Non of the members of the public seemed interested in helping me. Its was a large group . Its an embarrassing situation for London. They seem to think they own the streets.

You did the right thing.

Self defense focusses on things like breaking their grip, stunning, distracting or unbalancing them specifically to allow you to get away. Its not about fighting its about avoiding having to.
