Alpha 3 been working today for me

Well, given people must be working, I've had several good links today just before lunch time and after. It got bogged down over lunch:

Particularly enjoyed this, as I could land so I messed around, boosted out and did so without dying. Eventually I manage to dock and upgrade ship. As I come out to launch I get thrown into air; I panic, press Space bar and only just squeeze through the opening! The fun started today for me!

I can get into an MP instance but the game crashed for me when I hyperspace

As stated, I'm near Portsmouth (UK) and from 11:30 to 12:15 and from 14:00 to 14:30, all was great. Was working from home so split my lunch into two parts to try!

A new build is out which may or may not have solved the spinning ship of death issue.

The download is SO slow.. Still waiting for it to complete. Must have been a good hour. What is going on?? I'm wondering if my play today has put me into Virgins bad books for the day???

Don't forget to assign your weapons to a fire group if you want to fire them

Sound levels on youtube pretty poor though. In game sounds were ok but I could hardly hear anything you were saying.

Im gutted they sorted it before I could get my video out!!!

I think it'll be a few more weeks until alpha 4 considering the bugs that are still apparent and the time it took to get alpha 3 out.

It's working great for me now, 3.01 makes the game far more playable on my system.

Think I'm getting obsessed though.. my spare time when at home is spent on ED, when I'm out I'm playing Frontier on my ipad in any spare moments I get.
