Hey there if you bought the early bird edition of PC.

It will have the information there for you and the steps to take & access your steam key for the alpha 3.
Alpha 2 was using Frontier client but that has ended now. It is now fully using Steam with the support of Steam works.

That I didn't know about the cheat code. As I just joined near the end of Alpha 2.
The way the OP said I thought he meant the code as in CD-Key for Alpha 3.
