Has anyone gone to HUTTON ORBITAL in Alpha Centauri?

It is 0.22 LS From the star takes about 1 hour for the trip.

I was only doing a 30k cr drop.

Yea I wanted to go bed and sleep ;)

I knew of Alpha Centauri's Dark Secret since Frontier in the 90s... but a friend of mine who got into Elite: Dangerous without ever having seen any of the old Elites went there unknowingly... he took his dog for a walk while the ship supercruised towards Hutton Orbital.. :)

I ordered him this tankard to celebrate the occation:

Yeah, stainless steel is hard to photograph, the engraved text say "I flew to Hutton Orbital, and all I got was this Rare Tankard". He liked it. :)

Yes been to HUTTON ORBITAL, seem to remember taking about 30mins to get there.
Picked up rare item at this station, but did not bother going back.

I've started on my way there on a mission before I realised just how long it would take. I abandoned the mission and went elsewhere...sod all that for a game of soldiers.

The supercruise endurance test:
Advanced - fly to Hutton Orbital (Alpha / Proxima Centauri)
Pro - Scan every Astronomical object orbiting Sigma Orionis A and then every Astronomical object orbiting Sigma Orionis B

.22 l*Y*, not ls. "ls" would be a breeze.

I havn't done this yet but I intend to. I will do it when I am doing my accounts or something dull for work.

Personally I like that there are these sort of things in the game. It makes it interesting, if everything were easy it would be dull. Back in the 80's this would be something you would brag to your mates about in the playground.

There should be a decal or something you can display to buy there though.
