Proposal Discussion Alpha Retreat?

With a number of Alphas getting frustrated by the goings on in the general forums some people have expressed a desire for the Alpha forums to be re-opened.

While that may not necessarily be ideal or practical, there are other options that can be explored...

how about just posting in the private backers forum instead?

I agree. The alpha is finished, the forum should stay closed and the PBF is the ideal "bolt hole" if you want a quieter place.

Ah but the PBF is for anyone who backed during the KS which includes Betas etc... The reason for the suggestion is that several people have bemoaned the loss of the excellent overall spirit that pervaded the Alpha forum...

EDIT : Oh and I regularly hideout in the PBF....

Not true. PBF access was at £75, between Beta 1 and Beta 2... so you have the first round Beta people in there, but not the second and certainly not the hoi polloi!

While there are lot of new people I don't really think alphas should look for retreat. In fact, I feel we should give some clarity to people on topics. Yeah, sometimes it is confusing, but so is life.

you do get the odd standard beta in there, people who pledged to the level of the collectors box set, founders world start or the expansions pack digital download. you even get the odd person who pledged to PBF level itself, 60 of us according to the kickstarter but there are bound to be one or 2 that increased their pledge after that time.
