Alpha stuff, am I stupid?

Hey,

I bought into the Alpha through the store, but it doesn't seem like I've gotten access to the alpha sections of the forum. I also have the whole "Alpha Backer #xxxxx" thing in-game. Tried figuring out how to solve these, but drew a blank.

Am I just stupid, or should I do something special?

And thanks for the welcome to the rest of you as well. Been waiting for this game for more than a decade (literally - wrote a column in a gaming mag back in 2000 about a potential "Elite 4" and have been dreaming ever since. :p ) I just took my time with backing on it since I was attempting to be sane with my money, but I just couldn't keep myself in check when I saw that thing with the galaxy size. So yeah, here I am. :D

I did say _more_ than a decade. :D

I'm slightly too young to have played the original Elite when it was new, but Frontier: Elite 2 was religion when it came to my Amiga. :p

By "waiting" I meant more the time since when FD first started talking publically about "Elite 4", which was somewhere around 2000.

Nice stick, that.

I'm using a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog myself. A couple times more expensive, but a side-effect of my pre-existing involvement with military-grade flight sims. :) Used the X-52 before that though, very good value.
