Alpha Testers - How many of you will be uploading footage?

Just curious as there are under 2,000(?) alpha testers. How many of you will be uploading footage to tease the rest of us who don't have access and are hungry for Elite? Fortunately I have access to the 2nd round beta, but every day I check to see if any new footage is available. :D

Try HyperCam 2. Its free and really easy to use. The only issue I had with it is the gameplay I was recording had to be in windowed mode. I think ED will have that option (I seem to remember a dev mentioning it somewhere).

If my wireless provider (Sprint LTE) doesn't rate limit me, i'll try to stream to TwitchTV of my shenanigans that I'll be doing in Elite: Dangerous. ;)

Seriously though, I would want to upload some footage but I think my current rig is a bit under-powered to give decent framerates while at the same time capturing the video. I'm saving to put together a new build, but that is still maybe 2-4 months away (depending on the cost for Christmas and the bills that usually appear out of nowhere this time of year ;) )

haha fair enough. Once I save this shadowplay malarky I suppose just open it up using Windows Movie Maker software? Havn't tried it with shadowplay footage yet but I've used it to open up other files to make quick if fairly crude edits etc.

Yeah im considering it... Checked shadowplay, so should be doable.
Once i have a channel set-up on youtube for example then i will let you guys know... Assuming im not having too much fun he he...

lol - you will have fun (or not) watching me farting about in alpha. i shall upload frequently (?) on the olde you tube acct ^^

2k alpha = 10+ super super channels

It's been stated several times, there is no NDA, everyone is free to post screenshots and footage. I think all that new stuff will greatly help promote the game and increase its outreach.:)

sadly my alpha money has just gone into repairing this old car of mine ... i'll try on beta with dxtory, probably not in full res though, and if i do videos on ED, i'll probably use french.

i only hope it will run on this damn 6-months-old laptop... videos might be too much of a luxury unfortunately.

I'll be uploading footage when I can. My problem is that I have very little time to do any kind of editing. So you may just get the raw unedited stuff. I plan to focus on Oculus Rift and tell you about my experiences with that. (May not be part of Alpha though). I guess we'll see.

Interesting idea,

i don't wanna to ruin all here but.. should be great if someone of the Frontier dev would says something of official to know if it will be allowed or not.

They've said, like 400 times (slight exaggeration) that there is no NDA and posting videos is fine!

They have already given permission to do so on several different occasions here in the forums. :)
