I know the data on the system map page allows you to see if a body has been mapped already.
Would it be possible to make it more obvious in analysis mode.
I think a simple colour switch would make it instantly noticeable without the need for more modified icons.
In keeping with the Analysis HUD colouration when selecting a planet
1 in the left panel Navigation tab could you turn the body icon blue (for instance with standard HUD colour palette)
2 maybe the target display body Blue,
3 maybe the central HUD reticule blue?
As it is the having to go to the system map to see which ones you've mapped is a little cumbersome.
When you switch to Combat HUD they can revert to the default palette.
