With the upcoming wings extension and the associated chat commands, it's time to think about non-English keyboards, e.g., German ones, where the slash is on Shift+7. This can make it surprisingly awkward to quickly start chat commands (although in Elite you're far less likely to trigger a bunch of actions while trying to do it than in "normal" button-mashing MMOs).
