Alternate turret mode

Greetings Cmdrs,

I would like to see a turret mode that is a combination of fire at will an fire at selected target.

When you have a target selected the turret will fire as long as the target is in reach of the firing arc.

As soon as that's not the case the turret will shoot at any enemy within its fireing arc until the selected target reappears.

I sometimes find my Condas' underbelly turrets doing nothing, as well as my medium turrets. Instead of waiting to being able to fire at my selected target they could wreck havoc elsewhere until I am in perfect focus position. This would allow for more potential dps which means better turret AI.

I agree, i can go for this.
 
I fancy variety and don't believe it would be OP.

This mode is ideal for hazraz when and solo wing assassinations when you fight up to for targets at once.

You can focus the smaller ships while the bigger ones take some dmg already or vise versa.

This is something I always felt lacking for turrets.
 
Just like you can give your fighter order to fire at a specific target, you should be able to do the same for your turrets. And then you should be able to shoot at a totally different target.
