Alternative Module Sale Price Hit - Labor Fee Suggestion

As the whole 10% depreciation on modules turned out to be quite controversial, it got me thinking of a silly way we might add a similar feature, but without as big of a hit.
At first, I was somewhat of a proponent of the 10% hit, due to the fact that now, theoretically, you can have f.ex 5 ships for the price of one. On the other hand though, selling something like Mirrored Surface Composites (~109 million) or Reactive Surface Composites (~121 million) on a Fer-De-Lance, would cost you 10.9 and 12.1 million respectively - big hits for any bank account. I still prefer selling and buying modules to have an impact, rather than being interchangeable so easily - unless we get some sort of storage - so my idea is as follows.

How about a fixed "labor" for outfitting changes? Something silly, and very easy to work out. In more detail, my "labor fee" concept, consists of a fixed price per class of module.
For example:

Class 1: 1000Cr
Class 2: 2000Cr
...
Class 8: 8000Cr

And so on. And those aren't symbolic prices either, I think it's a fairly realistic price that has at least some impact on your wallet, and almost scales according to fuel costs for heavier ships. A scheme such as this would also scale for newcomers (with emptier wallets) and veterans alike.

Another example is, say you have an anaconda, and you're going for a massive overhaul. You're upgrading these modules:

Powerplant(8) <-8000Cr
Thrusters(7) <-7000Cr
FSD(6) <-6000Cr
Life Support(5) <-5000Cr
Power Distributor(8) <-8000Cr
Sensors(8) <- 8000Cr

It would amount to a total of 42000Cr in labor.

Conversely, if you're doing a sidewinder overhaul.

Powerplant(2) <-2000Cr
Thrusters(2) <-2000Cr
FSD(2) <-2000Cr
Life Support(1) <-1000Cr
Power Distributor(1) <-1000Cr
Sensors(1) <-1000Cr

With a total of 11000Cr in labor. Which sounds perfectly reasonable imo, albeit it may be open to some more scaling, proportional to module prices for low class modules. Granted, this may not be too fleshed out, having not completely researched all the prices and whatnot, but this is the gist of the idea. I'd appreciate any extra thoughts on this.

Thanks
