I've been scooping up some escape pods and whatnot from Thargoid sites, and have come to realize it's pretty shallowly implemented.
Idea: What if you could deny the initial reward, and then potentially later get something else in the mail?
Example; you turn in a damaged escape pod, and refuse the reward.
A week later, you get a message:
It wouldn't always need to be tangible rewards either;
Just simple little stuff like this would make the Search and Rescue aspect of the game feel much deeper and more meaningful.
