Alternative to stands for the VIVE (may work with Rift don't know sizes)

Any HTC Vive users around? I just bought these off Amazon for under £15 including delivery as an alternative mounting method to stands. The screw/threads are the same size as the holes so the VIVE sensors can mount on them directly. https://www.amazon.co.uk/…/B…/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00…
