Alternatives to Dav's Hope?

Thx for the tip, I got Military Supercapacitors and Imperial Shielding from 6 HGEs (actually 7 but one was nearly timed out and too far away to get there in time...)

An very impolite answer to a person trying to help ! Accusing other people of lying isn't the best way to get help... Just sayin'...

And it seems you were just unlucky (or impatient ?) to get only two HGEs. As I said I got 7 on entering (and honking) the system and a 8th one had already spawned in after I finished my run
Then make a video to prove that Surprize 960 is telling the truth!

Nobe Maximum 2 not.
With other word you lying that the beams bend.

I've seen 4-7 HGE in a single system all at once. Then HGE respawning as soon as one was picked up.
And it's not unusual to top up Imperial Shielding (0-100) in a single system with little to no downtime

You better ease on calling people liars...

Then make a video to prove that Surprize 960 is telling the truth!

Nobody is owing you any videos.

Then make a video to prove that Surprize 960 is telling the truth!

That's just a daft suggestion. Unless someone has video recording going already there is no chance of repeating a RNG spawn "as proof".

Nobe Maximum 2 not.
With other word you lying that the beams bend.

Trying to make sense of that I assume you think that there is a maximum spawn of 2 HGEs per system. You are quite wrong in that assumption, I have seen four HGE on many occasions - there are probably cases where I have been in systems with more than that but I had not been looking for them. It is all a matter of RNG, with some seeding of types by faction state.

If that is not what you meant then my apologies but any cogent meaning was not apparent.

The OP is trolling.

Based on INARA the OP has been playing ED since 2019 and obviously has the means to get engineering mats.
I reckon you're hit the nail on the head there.

The thread's title asks for alternatives to Dav's Hope... a place where you get manufactured materials and data.
And yet, a few posts into the thread, OP came out with this doozy:
But only if you have access.
And high grade emissions does not always guarantee that you get the material you can get there.
Also, this material cannot be exchanged for e.g. RAW materials.
What you knew if you would know your way around ED.
The first line implies they failed to read the words "systems around Achenar" correctly.
The second line is just... OMFG.
The third line is a whinge about not getting raw mats, which you can't get at Dav's.
The fourth line is an insult to someone who just tried to help.
Nuff said. This is why the ignore button exists, people.

Then the others have a completely different ED: Odyssey version than I do.

No, others just know where to look after them (Inara is of good help)

Manufactured materials, in HGE:
Pharmaceutical Isolators - Systems with factions in Outbreak, preferably with factions not having any other states, preferably Independent or Alliance factions
Improvised Components - Systems with factions in Civil Unrest, preferably as above
Military Grade Allows, Military SupeCapacitors - Systems with factions in War or Civil War, preferably...
Proto Radiolic Alloys, Proto Heat Radiators - Systems with Factions in Boom, preferably...

Imperial Shielding - Systems with Imperial Factions, no special state needed
Core Dynamics Composites - Systems with Federation Factions, no special state needed

Fed and Imperials factions can override the states so even you may find a HGE from a Fed faction in outbreak, that HGE may contain only Core Dynamics instead of Pharma Isolators.
High Population is said to help increase the chances of finding HGE, but i've found PI even in systems with less than 100k population

Manufactured materials in mission rewards:
Exquisite Focus Crystals - Mission reward at Allied level
Biotech Conductors - same

Then make a video to prove that Surprize 960 is telling the truth!
I couldn't bother less than to prove anything to any impolite person on the internet...

Calm down, rethink about your answers before posting them and definitely stop being paranoic about being a german.
I know it's not too easy sometimes if english is not ones native tongue and one is not used to using a language which might be half forgotten since the days back in school.
Or something like that, more or less reflecting on my own case here... 🤷‍♂️ ;)

Personally I never had a feeling of being not welcome here in the forums just because I'm from germany. And I do think, that many other germen speaking forum members would say that, too.

P.S.: Werd' einfach ein bißchen ruhiger und bitte auch etwas höflicher und dann wird sich immer jemand finden, der auch bereit ist, Dir zu helfen.
Ist aber nur ein nett gemeinter Vorschlag...

Edit / P.P.S.: and do yourself a big favour and change or better delete your signature, that's totally disgusting !

Have they changed them then? Low CZ used to be the most hazardous due to the smaller numbers to "blend in" with. I have only ever been in High CZs for years.

Yes, but no SpecOps whatsoever is what makes it easier, else yea, in a High CZ it's sort of easier to get lost in the crowd, but if the reds get SpecOps and your team gets War Correspondents it's pretty much game over for a non-engineered ship
While in a low cz i managed to win most of them only by assisting my team
I have the impression that the difference in numbers between the Low and High CZs isn't as extreme now as it was back in the day before they introduced the Medium one and added all the other stuff.
