Cool video.
RCT sereis was basically insipired by Alton Towers and Chris Sawyer being a fan. The generic theming you see during the series are basically Alton Tower facades.
Love how many great John Wardley coaster desings are in this park. Nemesis is probably one of the best designed coasters to terrain in the world.

On another note, do you know of an Alton Towers documentary that was commentated by the Hex voiceover? I bought it on DVD once at the Oblivion shop in the early 2000s (just after air opened (?) ) and can't find it nor remember it's name.

My first big theme park coaster was a John Wardley one, Dragon Khan. Love that little pre fall he added to it, made me open my eyes before time when i was scared about the big fall the first time I went in.

You should! I recommend staying in the hotel, as it really is amazing and you get free park entry. Not to mention you can get in the park and be right at the front of the gate or even before it opens to get some extra queueing time in!
