Anyone who looks at my post history might notice that I have been pretty hard on this game, deservedly so I think too however I suppose if I were to summarize my feelings it was that I didn't think it felt like a retail worthy game as it stood in the Gamma releases.

I have had quite a few chats with my brother who is also a player about problems and things we felt were good and bad, we don't agree on everything either which is no surprise. haha Anyway, without even trying the Gamma 2.0 and only looking at the new features (which I was lead to believe were not going to happen before release) I can hand on heart say that it's now looking like a more retail worthy game. Which is all I wanted.

Great feature additions (even though I am yet to try them as of the time of this post haha) and thank you.

Totally with you, I have been a vocal advocate for all sorts of changes/improvements/enhancements and raised my concerns.

However...we are less than 2 sleeps now (gamer sleeps) from going live.....the game/foundation we have is very very nice.

I am very excited to see how the galactic power scenario plays out and hope it will entertain us all until some of the 'improvements' to the broader base come.

So, I personally welcome robust discussion on the forums, but am less enamoured by the dummy spitters, refund, civil action, ott brigade

Well said. Nothing wrong with venting frustration here and there, as long as you add in positive feedback and praise when issues that drive you to the brink of insanity (such as navigation) are finally fixed/enhanced. (huzzah!)
