Am I hearing things? Is the music from Dune in this game?

The SciFi channel miniseries was pretty good. Unlike David Lynch, they had read the book.

Lynch did read the book. The studio wouldn't let him make the film that he wanted to make, which is why he disowned it eventually. Despite all the studio interference he came up with a rough cut that was 4 hours long and considerably more fleshed out than the (studio) butchered theatrical version. Of course none of us have ever seen this, the best we have is the 3hr fan made Alternative Edition Redux stitched together with scenes from both the theatrical and extended edition, and if you haven't seen it yet then I highly recommend you google it.
Personally I thought the weirding modules were an ingenious way of getting round the difficulty of filming a super advanced martial skill that no one's ever seen. I liked the mini-series and its sequel but they lacked the weird intensity and stunning visuals of the film. Not to mention Brian Eno's standout Prophecy Theme.

Toto's score was good but I'd prefer more of an Eno and Vangelis feel in ED. More than we have now, anyway.

Note: OP no longer needs the Weirding Module. :)

I was walking with a random rhythm and the wife thought I was drunk again.

Lynch was awesome.

I always thing I hear Star Trek in elite's music.

I don't mind Elite's Music, but I think they kind of phoned it in.

In comparison, I really like Star Citizen's music. I just wish I like their "game" as well.
