Am I missing something when switching between VR and Panel?

Hello,

I recently bought a 2nd dk2 to try out where VR is at.

I love it but I also love my panel resolution and having chat and tools available without peaking from behind the hmd.

So whenever I say ok steam lets launch elite in vr mode I have to mess with settings in options -> graphics and the same when switching back from VR to the normal panel.

Currently I have two folders which are backups of appdata/elite/options graphics and replace that folder with whichever I am using at the time.

Its a bit of ballache, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something and there an easier/in built way of managing this issue?

PS. Bonus points if anyone can help me make full screen stick when using a hmd as I seem to have to change that every time... Or if you can help me bound the mouse like in Adrift that would also be good news

Yeah I agree, I also hate how the mouse goes off screen and freezes when using a HMD too.

If you set the monitor window to the same res as your monitor, its a lot better (only the title bar at the top grabs the mouse, but it forgets when you quit from ED.
