General Gameplay Amalgam Testing DLC Refined Storyline

This is a more refined version of the Amalgam Testing DLC and it's proposed storyline.

This DLC would act as a prequel set before Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World and would explore the topic of the Amalgam Testing that was after Massrani Global aquired International Genetic Technologies. It will also answer the question of why Jurassic World was set on Nublar rather than Sorna. The DLC Logo would be that of the Spinosaurs. This DLC is designed to show the players what exactly went down during the nine months of experimentation with gene splicingon Isla Sorna.

Menu detail: Return to Isla Sorna with Henry Wu to lay the groundwork for what will later become Jurassic World.

Location: Sorna East

Mission 1: Operations Center

Wu:We need to repair the Embryonics facility, we can use this labratory to begin our research.

Setup a ranger team

Repair the Embryonics Administration

Build a fence around the Embryonics Adminstration

Ensure no dinosaurs can access the adminstration building

Mission 2: New Attractions
Wu: I do have enough resources here to begin cloning new attractions, but I will have to use our new gene splicing techniques to make the embryos viable.

Research Gene Splicing

Research Spinosaurs

Research Corythosaurs

Research Ceratosaurus

Research Ankylosaurs

Part 2

Wu: I am uncertain of what will hatch or how it will look. But we must begin. We will begin our testing by cloning a relatively easy to manage dinosaur. A Spinosaurs. We will clone one male and one female so we can determine how the technique effects the species.

Incubate a Male Spinosaurs

Incubate a Female Spinosaurs

Wu: Something has gone horribly wrong, these look nothing like Spinosaurs. They were frail fish eaters, not apex predators. We have to contain these hybirds and make sure they don't escape.

Cabot: Mr.Massrani will want to see the results. Take a photo of the Spinosaurs.

Capture a photo of the Male Spinosaurs

Capture a photo of the Female Spinosaurs

Part 3

Cabot: Mr.Massrani is very satisifed with what he sees, he wants more new dinosaurs.

Wu: Very well then, we will now test our methods on another Carnivore before we move into creating herbivores.

Incubate a Spinosaurs

Ensure the Spinosaurs are in a secure enclosure.

Ensure the Spinosaurs confort level is at 80%

Part 4

Wu: We will need to refine our methods, and monitor these Spinosaurs with survalence equitment to see if there are any further anomolies.

Setup a survallence camera in the Spinosaur Enclosure.

Wu: We should be able to monitor these animals better now. Our work must continue, we must not lose focus of our mission here.

Cabot: Which is?

Wu: To perfect the gene splicing technique, with this we can manufacture dinosaurs that are easier to incubate and control.

Part 5

Wu: We will now splice the little genome data we have of the Ceratosaurs and hybridize it with a Tyranosaur.

Incubate a male Ceratosaurus

Incubate a female Ceratosaurs

Photograph the Ceratosaurs

Ensure that the survellance camera can observe the Ceratosaurus

Part 6

Cabot: Our survelliance teams report we have a problem.

Wu: Which is?

Cabot: The Ceratosaurs have begun fighting.

Wu: Let them fight.

Cabot: We've invested a great deal of money into these...

Wu: Let them fight, we must observe to find out if we did something wrong.

Allow the Ceratosaurs to fight.

Part 7

Cabot: Survelliance teams are reporting that the survivng Ceratosaur is eating the dead one.

Wu: We must not lose both assets, tranquilze the Ceratosaur and remove the dead body.

Remove the dead Ceratosaur

Tranqulze the surviving Ceratosaur

Mission #3 Research and Development

Wu: We must now test our methods on incubating Herbivores. They should be eaiser to handle.

Clone a male Corythosaur

Clone a female Corythosaur

Setup a survelliance camera in their enclosure.

Photograph the Corythosaurs

Part 2

Wu: These clones look healthier and more stable than the previous clones, we must need to make sure the genome is above 50% with the hybrids. We must also remember that these clones are the first prototypes. We will now try cloning Ankylosaurs.

Clone a male Ankylosaur

Clone a female Ankylosaur

Photograph the Ankylosaurs

Make sure the survelliance camera can observe the Ankyloosaur

Wu: These clones seem more stable than the previous ones. The hybrid herbivores seem extremely docile.

Mission #4: Feathered Fiends

Wu: We must determine if the anomolies we saw with the carnivores was a result of an incomplete genome or the result of the hybridization of several different dinosaur species.

Cabot: Maybe we used the wrong DNA?

Wu: That is not possible, I used genomes from the Spinosaur relatives Baryonx and Suchomimus to create this hybrid.

Wu: We will now use the genomes of dinosaurs we have a near complete genome of, if this is sucessful we will have a feathered variant of our Velociraptors.

Incubate a Male Velociraptor

Incubate a Female Velociraptor

Wu: The results on these are more a bit more positive, but we must also observe these raptors for anomolies.

Wu: I believe we have what we wanted here.

Cabot: What do we do now?

Wu: We see if the already existing dinosaurs are fit to be in Jurassic Park. For this we must move to the western area of Sorna.

Location Sorna West

Mission #5: Documentation

Wu: We must now document the dinosaurs living on this part of Sorna to see if we can use them.

Photograph the species living on Sorna West.

Part 2

Wu: Something is wrong with some of these dinosaurs appear to be trembling.

Cabot: Maybe they are shy.

Wu: No, there is something wrong here, we need to capture some of the affected dinosaurs to determine the problem.

Capture an infected Edmontosaurs

Capture an infected Tyranosaurs

Capture an infected
Parasaurolophus

Mission #6: Isolation

Wu: We must now isloate these dinoaurs and find out what is wrong with them.

>Isolate the infected Edmontosaurs

Isolate the infected Tyranosaurs

Isolate the infected
Parasaurolophus

Establish cameras so the isolated dinosaurs can be documented.

Wu: We have never seen this disease reported on any of the dinosaurs in the past. It appears to be the result of something they ate. Scans are showing that these dinosaurs are infected with some sort of prion disease. This in particular is troublesome, we cannot use these dinosaurs since we cannot cure this disease.

Cabot: So these dinos are no good?

Wu: We cannot be sure of which ones are infected or not, but some of them can be used. We will have to capture the ones not showing symptoms and leave the infected ones to their fate.

Mission #7: Observation

Wu: We will need to create enclosures for the non-infected dinosaurs ,try to keep them as far apart as you can.

House the asymptomatic dinosaurs in enclosures.

Mission #8: Breakout

Wu:Our scans are showing that these dinosaurs are infected. I'm afraid we cannot risk a Jurassic Park operation on this island as we do not know the transmission cause or source of this disease nor do we have the time to research it further. The nine month deadline is up, we have to leave Sorna and focus Jurassic Park on Nublar.

Cabot: Our survelliance team reports that the female Spinosaurs has broken out of her enclosure and is heading for the embryotics adminstration. If she continues at her present course, the scientists and staff stand no chance.

Wu: We have no choice then, I want the Deinosuchus incubated and released, we can use a jeep to lure the female Spinosaurs there and the Deinosuchus should take care of it.

Incubate a Deinosuchus

Release the Deinosuchus near the lake.

Part 2:

This should work, the female Spinosaurs needs to be lured to the lake, it cannot reach the Embryonics facility

Lure the Spinosaurs to the Deinosuchus

The Spinosaurs begins to drink from the water and the grabs the neck of the Spinosaurs, dragging it into the water it preforms a death roll killing the Spinosaurs.

Mission #9 Evacuation

Cabot: The mission has failed, we have no further use for most of the dinosaurs. If any do survive we will come back for them when the facility on Nublar is constructed.

Release the dinosaurs.

IF POSSIBLE TO IMPLEMENT: Destroy all fences and structures built during the campaign to coverup evidence that gene testing occurred here.

Eplogue: The plane flies away from Sorna, leaving the dinosaurs there to fend for themselves. They do come back years later and take the surviving dinosaurs to Nublar for exhibit in Jurassic World.

Notes:

Originally the Spinosaurs was to fight a Carnoraptor. This hybrid would be modeled after a chameleon and would even have the strange eye of a chameleon. It would camoflague during its combat with the Spinosaurs and would use the element of suprise to catch it off guard and kill it.This hybrid would die later of its wounds (off-camera) this is why you don't see it in JP3. This part, assuming Vic Hoskins was involved with the operation, he'd would watch this fight and would be inspired the raptor project you see in Jurassic World

The surviving Ceratosaurus was to be immune to DX (a reference to its cannibalistic tendancies in JPOG) It would also be immune to CJD, mentioned below.

A disease similar to DX was to be added as a consequence of a carnivore feasting on the flesh of a dead member of its own species, this disease was to be called "creutzfeldt-jakob disease"

A few more details here.
The Embryo Administration would act as both a hatchery with remote incubation (the dinos don't spawn there, they are transported via helicopter.)
The cameras would be camoflagued so the dinos couldn't see them. The original idea comes from a concept I had for Site B mode where cameras and staff would be the only ones on the island. Think eagle-cam. Revenue was to be generated by either donations or by people paying to watch the livestream.
CUT: The excuse inGen used for going to Site B was to document the dinosaurs. Lying so they could get on Sorna to test the gene splicing methods.
In this mode, cameras would be used to observe the dinosaurs. They will generate revenue in the base game, providing a challenge where there are no guests, but staff deaths are prosecuted the same way guests deaths are.
CUT: The story was suppose to begin with the player setting up cameras and invisible fences, think the magnetic fences from "Lost". But this was cut since the people would see the neck braces on the dinosaurs.
Note: The dinosaurs in this mode do not breed, there would be a part of the game (probably after the mission on Sorna West, where a raptor nest was shown (the reason for this was to show why the raptors nested here.
The male and female variants were just cosmetic skins, since the dinos changed gender with frog DNA, it doesn't matter which skin you chose given you incubate 2 of the species. There however was to be a unique skin available for the female Spinosaurs. Most cosmetic skins are restricted to maintain continuity.
CUT: One of the main reasons the island was evacuated was not because of the Spino, but inGen realized that DX was transmittable to humans. There would be no safe way to guarantee that people wouldn't get the infection.
A variant of DX would be added to the campaign, based on the real prion disease known as CJD. Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. This would not be transmittable to humans though, Dx won't be either, it was supose to be but that seems hard to implement in-game.
CUT: I had the idea of having most if not all of the buildings to give them a Jurassic Park - Jurassic World vibe. Example: The visitor center would structurally resemble the one in Jurassic Park, but would have a roof resembling the Innovation Center.
The Deinosuchus mentioned survives the DX and is transported to Isla Nublar, it dies on Sorna.
CUT: Before I did proper research, I did not know that the croc skeleton was cut from JW:FK. Meaning this creature died on Sorna. It is possible the male spino killed it for revenge.
The Deinosuchus is NOT an aquatic exclusive animal, but it will require most of it's exhibit to be in water. It'd operate similar to the Spinosaurs.
The Deinosuchus' would be a meat eater, if a goat or another dinosaur comes to close to the water, it would ambush how normal crocs hunt in our world and do a death roll.
Note: The cut Carnoraptor was to resemble a chameleon, it was even to have the strange eye that chameleons posses.

Final Note:I do not care if any or all of this is used to create a DLC. Just seeing this concept in the game would be payment enough for me. I do hope you all enjoyed reading this. And I do hope someday we get a some form of media be it a movie, game, mini-series, etc based on the Amalgam Testing as I find it a fascinating piece of Jurassic Park-Jurassic World lore begging to be explored.
